TROWEL AND BOND TOPPING CEMENT


A perfectly proportioned blend of acrylic polymer, Portland Cement and specialty aggregates.

Uses

As an overlay or resurfacer (topping) for floors and walls. Contains a polymer bonding agent for a strong chemical bond that is 8 times stronger than regular Concrete. Suggested uses include:




Repairing Broken and Chipped Concrete - Resurfacing Spalled or Damaged Concrete - Pointing or Setting Brick, Block and Stone - Creating Ramps and Elevating Surfaces

Coverage

11 lbs of Super Bond Topping Cement covers 1 sq ft to about 1 inch thickness.

Preparation

Thoroughly clean the surface with a stiff brush and detergent. Flush with clean water and remove standing water (no puddles).

Directions

Mix the required amount of dry SUPER BOND with enough water to achieve a heavy batter. Allow to sit for 10 minutes for proper chemical reaction. Mix again, adding water or material to regain desired consistency. When flowable, the material will be self-leveling. Too much water will reduce the strength of the material.

For best results

Shallow Repairs (under 1/2 inch):Force a thin layer of SUPER BOND into the pores of the old Concrete to thinly cover the entire surface. Immediately spread more Super Bond to the desired thickness then level and finish with a dampened trowel or screed.
Deep Repairs (1/2 inches or more): Proceed as above to a 1/2 inch thickness. Allow to set for 24 hours. Keep adding 1/2 inch layers until required thickness is reached.
Under Normal Conditions: damp curing is not required. Surface should be protected from wind and direct sunlight. Temperatures should remain above 40ºF. Surface will be traffic bearing in 24 hours. Do not use outside bonding agents with this product.

Safety

SUPER BOND contains Portland Cement. Direct contact may irritate eyes and skin. Wear protective clothing (gloves, safety glasses) when using this product. Wash exposed areas promptly with water. If material gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and contact a physician.DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN and PETS.

Clean Up

Clean up is simple and easy with soap and water. Rinse tools before material hardens.
