Real Brick Slices cut from reclaimed brick. Each 1/2" thick slice has the face dimension of a standard brick and can be applied
and mortared to achieve the appearance of real full size brick with a minimum of space and weight.
Uses
For both interior and exterior application. An easy do-it-yourself project. Just apply with adhesive or mortar.
Create brick walls, fireplaces, backsplashes, or a variety of brick surfaces.
Used by professionals in many commercial restaurants such as "East Side Mario's" and "Jack Astor's"

Directions
For Interior Application
- Mark wall with horizontal guidelines 2 3/4 inches apart.
- Apply beads of adhesive to back of slices with a high quality ceramic wall tile adhesive.
- Place Slices on wall in an offset pattern with a 3/8 inch space joint.
- Grout joints with a "Pre-Mixed Mortar Mix."
- Finish joints by hand or a jointing tool.
For Exterior Application
- Staple or nail wire lath to the exterior wooden surface.
- Plaster area with a "Pre-Mixed Mortar Mix".
- Soak "Kwik Brick" Slices and butter backs with mortar.
- Press Bricks onto the surface in an off-set brick pattern.
- Fill joints with mortar and finish by hand or with a jointing tool.
- If mortar is too watery, the Slices will not hold as positioned.
- Cut Brick Slices to accommodate row ending requirements.
- Apply Brick Corners as required in the same fashion.
Clean Up
Wet mortar can be wiped from the Brick Facing with a damp cloth.
Caution
The Brick Slices are fragile — Use care in handling.
